This was a class art assignment. We were supposed to mimic an artist, and I chose to mimic Joe Quesada. I used Charcoal pencils and smudging and smearing.

Awesome.

I've got to get some of my comic stuff up, too.

I've been trying to teach myself to draw lately, comic-book type figures, mostly. I can't get the elaborate-looking moves or things like that yet (if I ever will be able to). But I can draw them standing around ok.

It's allllllllllllllllllllllllll about practice. Quesada is good for elaborate poses. So is Romita Jr. Like...Quesada's run on Daredevil is good for figuring out how the body should move, and some of Romita Jr.'s Spidey work is good also for that. I learned in High school..by, er....drawing DBZ figures in class. Yeah.....I don't draw DBZ anymore, mind you.

Hehe.

Basically, I've just been looking at pics online, drawing them, and finishing 'em in class.
